We have had so much fun reading all sorts of different
Gingerbread books over the past couple of weeks! Some of our favorites being "The Gingerbread Man", "The
Gingerbread Boy", "The Gingerbread Bear", "The Gingerbread Girl", "The Gingerbread Cowboy",
and "The Gingerbread Pirate"! We have really been doing our research, as far
as Gingerbread cookies go! After all the diverse types of gingerbread
stories we decided to think about what type of Gingerbread cookie we would like
to be! My smart Little Gingerbread Cookies came up with the cutest ideas and
illustrations, ever!
We had a combination of Gingerbread Fire Fighters, Ninjas,
Princesses, Pirates, Wrestlers, Hulks, and Rockstars!
My smart Little Gingerbread Cookies were so creative about what they
would do if they were a Gingerbread Cookie, everything from getting away from
mean cookies to flying saving cats in trees and dogs from holes!
Then we had the most amazing afternoon last Friday making our very own Gingerbread Houses! Thank you so much to everyone who sent in candy, frosting, materials, etc and also to everyone who was able to come help! We are so lucky to have the most wonderful and kind Parents! I truly cannot say Thank You enough for all you do!
