Field Day

We had the absolute BEST day at Field Day on Tuesday!
Coach Swain did an amazing job putting the whole day together and everyone worked/played extremely hard and did their best!
I'm so proud of my little athletes!  Also, thank you so much to all the volunteers that made it possible for the teachers to be with our students at each of the 12 events, we appreciate you.

It was truly an amazing day!

My little athletes had some high hops in the sack races!

Soccer was another favorite for everyone!
Then it was time for "Drip, Drip, DRENCH!!!"  This was, by far, everyone's favorite game!
It is played like "Duck, Duck, Goose" except with a sponge!!!  Students drip the sponge on their friends heads until they squeeze it over the person that gets drenched!

I love the looks on their faces!
The Cup Races were also a top choice of the games!
 Happy Little Faces
I can't get over how adorable they all are!
Pulling hard during Tug of War!
 Sack Races
We truly had a great day!
Love the happiness and joy in these little guys and girls!

 PULLLLLLLL!!!!!
Our last game before our Hotdog Lunch was "The Big Feet Race!"
Estelle said it felt like trying to walk in skies or flippers!
Working super hard to tag the Drencher!
This picture pretty much sums up our day, pure happiness and fun!
 Teamwork!
Thank you, again, to everyone who helped make our Field Day so special!  We have an amazing PTO who served a delicious hotdog lunch that helped refuel my athletes after working so hard all day!
I hope everyone is having as great of a week as we are!

Bricks for Kidz

We had so much fun working with Mr. Rob from Bricks for Kidz to build swings out of Legos to help us understand force and motion! Check out some of the pictures from our exciting Friday morning!
Mr. Rob explaining Force and Motion to us!
Working hard on building their carnival swings!
Paying close attention to the directions while building their Lego Swings!
All smiles, wish we could start every morning building with Legos!
Mr. Rob was awesome explaining all the parts and pieces to us while we worked!
I am so proud of how hard everyone worked and how much fun everyone had!
Add a battery and we have action on our swings!
Our neat little swings all assembled and ready to turn on!
Mr. Rob from Bricks for Kidz was so helpful with everyone!
