My Little Cat in the Hats
We have really been having a fun week reading Dr. Seuss books and integrating them into our other subjects we work on during the day! After working hard on the Lorax, we moved on to "Horton Hears a Who" and "Horton Hatches an Egg." Of course, everyone loves Horton and the amazing heart he has. We talked about good deeds we could do for others as well as wrote about what we could do to help others! After diving into the life of Horton the Elephant we also read "Green Eggs and Ham" and I made my little Seuss lovers a sweet treat that they really enjoyed!
Then, today we read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" and integrated our entire math lesson to sorting, counting, and graphing colored goldfish crackers!
And finally, a bit of sad news to end this post. This is the last week we will have both Ta'Marion and Henry as a part of our school family! We will miss them both very much, but wish them luck in their new homes!
