The Hop Field Trip

We had so much fun on Friday when we went to The Hop on our field trip! There are two things that kinders love most...ice cream and field trips, so visiting The Hop to learn how they make their amazing ice cream made for a Fantastic Friday!

Last week was so much fun, but this week is also going to be full of Dr. Seuss filled fun! Including Storybook Character day on Wednesday, March 2nd...Dr. Seuss' 112th Birthday!

Pictures from our Valentine's Celebration

We had so much fun celebrating Valentine's Day and our friendship with each other on Friday!

Thank you to everyone who sent in shoe boxes, they turned out great as mailboxes for our Valentines!

Everyone had a great time decorating their mailbox so their friends had a place to deliver their Valentines to!

Even though we had a lot of fun, it was not a day of all work and no play! We also worked very hard sorting, counting, and graphing conversation hearts!

I am so proud of how hard my little math stars worked, even when they were using candy as their math manipulatives!

This was definitely a fun math lesson!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend and as much fun as we did celebrating in our classroom on Friday! Don't forget, this Friday is PJ Day as a reward for reaching our Golden Ticket Goal!

This Friday, February 19^th we are going to have a Pajama Day as a reward for reaching our Golden Ticket Goal of 15 Golden Tickets! As a class, we voted and the students choose a PJ Day as their reward! I am so proud of my well behaved students and all they have accomplished so far this year!

Valentine's Day Reminders...

This Friday, February 12^th at 1:15, we are going to have our Valentine’s Day celebration and exchange valentines with all of our friends. I am asking you to send in one valentine for each child in our classroom. We have 19 students this year and I have been looking around town and spotted some nice valentines at the Dollar Tree and Walmart. However, if you are unable to send in valentines for your student to exchange, please do not worry. Just let me know ahead of time so I can let them make them at school. Thank you for all you do for our students, I really appreciate all you do to help us out!
