Yesterday we finished our cute little elf applications!!!  They turned out so cute!  Don't forget FRIDAY is Polar Express Day, and to have your child wear their PJ's!

Don't forget to send in $4.50 for our Field trip on January 3rd!  Just a reminder since it is right when we get back to school from the Holidays!  Hope everyone is having a great week!

Polar Express Day

This FRIDAY, December 21^st, we have Early Release.  It is also the last day of school before we are out for the Holidays.  To celebrate we are going to have Polar Express Day.  Please send your student to school in their PJ’s, we will be watching The Polar Express and also having a pizza party for lunch.  You do not need to worry about sending in any money for the pizza party, it is part of my holiday gift to my wonderful students!  Also, if your student does not want pizza, they will still be allowed to buy their lunch from the cafeteria or you can send one from home!  Wishing everyone safe and happy holidays!

Meteorologist

Channel 14's Meteorologist, Lee Ringer, came and talked to the entire Kindergarten on Wednesday!  He read us two books about weather and explained what happens in a thunderstorm!

Gingerbread Week

As everyone knows, last week we had Gingerbread Week!  We read three stories about Gingerbread people including, The Gingerbread Boy, The Gingerbread Baby, and The Gingerbread Girl.  The students LOVED learning about what each Gingerbread person did differently.  After reading all three books, we compared and contrasted the stories as well as graphed our favorite book of the three.  The girls won out and The Gingerbread Girl was the winner!

 Then we made Gingerbread Houses!!!

Christmas Cards

Last week we made Holiday Cards to send over to the Soldiers!  They turned out so cute and I'm sure will warm the hearts of the men and women who fight for our country!

We're Finally Back!

We're finally back up and running!!!  This post is just going to recap a little of November!
